I have had a complicated relationship with food for most of my life. My name is Lorian and I have spent decades perfecting the flavor and deliciousness of my recipes. I am gluten-free and dairy-free and don’t eat anything with four legs.  What that means is I eat poultry and fish, though I am not sure that either is doing the best for my delicate system anymore. My daughter was Vegan for many years so I learned to perfect holidays and dinner without meat or eggs. Now she’s a pescatarian and I have entered a whole new realm of cooking.

Over the years, my family and friends have repeatedly asked me for my recipes, especially since I started posting many yummy cooking pictures on Facebook. I have put together this website/blog, “From Lorian’s Kitchen,” so that I can share my passion for specialized cooking with not only my friends and family but many other people who struggle to find delicious recipes when they have multiple food allergies and/or food sensitivities.

I am a native New Yorker who has lived in Annapolis, Maryland for 25 years, with a wonderful family, 3 rescued dogs, and 4 rescued cats.
